to check the location of the module and the file you need to overwrite, use below command:

perl -MSVN::Notify::HTML -e’print $_ . ” => ” . $INC{$_} . “\n” for keys %INC’

then you can copy the HTML.pm and ColorDiff.pm in the correct path.
after copy, you can call svnnotify with additional parameter –css-inline to output the css code inside the email HTML code.

Fantastic! Spent all day figuring out that GMail doesn’t allow blocks, and finding a quick, clean fix at the end of that wild goose chase sure is nice. Why hasn’t this become part of SVNNotify?!

Figured it all out (they go in /usr/share/perl5/SVN/Notify) but it turns out my version of svnnotify is 2.66, so I guess I will have to pass

I’ll be honest — I have no idea what to do with those two files. Do I just drop them somewhere? Using Ubuntu 8.04 Server with SVN Notify 2.80.

THANKS SO MUCH… this is exactly what I needed. I had version 2.80 installed but dropping these two files in worked great.
